WORKTALK friends will know we have had some challenges over the years in handling our support needs. WORKTALK was founded (as WorkNet) on 1st Jan.1997. 2009 is the beginning of our 13th year. Thanks to our supporters, board, chairman, partners and associates for walking the path and to Jesus of Nazareth for being the Path.

Geoff Shattock preached at Meadows Church Leicester on the theme of ‘Receiving and Giving Good News’ encouraging the congregation to be conduits of encouragement in the marketplace crisis of 2009.
We are sorry report the sad loss of Pete Hammond who passed away on 26th December due to a heart attack. Pete, who was vice president of Intervarsity Christian Fellowhip USA, had been a friend to WORKTALK since 1998. Pete introduced us to a number of key leaders in the US as well as being a great friend to our Founder. He will be greatly missed.
WORKTALK was invited to help the association of Christian financial advisors explore integrating faith with work at their annual conference. Geoff Shattock gave two keynote addresses. The first was an overview of working spiritually the second addressed the vital issue of coping with stress. Attendees were very encouraged and worked on the implications for their businesses.
On 8th November 2008 a number of local Christians including some key city wide leaders, gathered for our first US Conference. Geoff Shattock delivered the first three modules of WORKTALK. The US version of the DVD and Handbook was available and each delegate received a complementary Handbook. The conference was extremely well received and plans are now in place for a second conference in June 2009.
